Full-time SAIT students are automatically enrolled in the Saitsa Health & Dental plan. For the current year it’s $172 health + $158 dental, billed to your student account in two installments, and runs for your program length (up to 12 months). Not part of tuition — the fees show separately on your account.

Your plan reaches well beyond the basics — prescription drugs, dental, vision, paramedical practitioners, hospital and ambulance — at a premium about five times cheaper than a typical private plan.
Most services can be direct-billed, so you rarely pay out of pocket.
Care for your wellbeing
Mental health is covered too: counselling at 80%, up to $1,000 a year, plus a free 24/7 Student Wellness line at 1 (833) 549-3281.

Claims made simple
Register at studentbenefits.ca or the Student Benefits app for printable benefit cards, live balances, online claims and direct deposit.
Ask your provider to direct-bill where possible; otherwise submit online within 6 months of the expense.
